Primary Sources Workshop Available for K-12 Teachers

Are you a K-12 teacher? Interested in inquiry-based learning through primary sources? If so, this free workshop is for you!


Cultivate a classroom of inquiry-based learning through the practice of teaching with primary sources. Join Teaching with Primary Sources-MHU to explore various strategies for engaging students through the exploration of primary sources in your classroom for all content areas. In this session we will study the "Impact of the Railroad on Southern Appalachia" as best practices are modeled. In addition, learn what other resources are available digitally at loc.gov, and quick tips for finding primary sources from this online database. Teachers will earn CEUs for this workshop.
