Please considering sharing news of your new collections in the upcoming issue of The Appalachian Curator. The deadline for submissions is this Friday, August 30. For examples of past announcements, visit their most recent issue.
Please submit to Gene Hyde, Editor, at ghyde@unca.edu or Liz Skene Harper, Assistant Editor, at eharper@wcu.edu.
The Appalachian Curator is a newsletter by and about special collections and archives that collect primary and secondary materials related to the Appalachian mountains. The intended audience is scholars, students, researchers, archivists, librarians, and anyone else with an interest in resources that document Appalachia.
The Appalachian Curator is a publication of the Special Collections Committee of the Appalachian Studies Association. It is a free, online newsletter published triannually (Spring/Summer, Fall, and Winter) and hosted at the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Thank you for the reminder about the deadline. I will prepare a concise yet in-depth summary of the new collection, outlining its source, types of materials, and potential for research on That's Not My Neighbor Appalachia. Submitting the article on time will ensure that the information reaches the right interested community effectively.
