Finance Committee

The Finance Committee of the Appalachian Studies Association supports the financial health and long-term sustainability of the association by overseeing budgeting, financial planning, and fiscal policies. The committee works closely with the Association Office staff and Steering Committee to review revenues and expenses, monitor investments and reserves, and help ensure responsible stewardship of association resources. In alignment with ASA’s mission, the committee helps provide financial guidance that supports the organization’s annual conference, publications, scholarships, and member programming. Committee members contribute strategic insight and collaborative leadership to maintain transparency, accountability, and the continued growth of the association.
